GROWTH GROUPS
Community is essential to how God works in and through our lives as followers of Christ.
Growth Groups are groups of 5-15 people who meet weekly to grow, encouraging friendships, gain a greater understanding of God's Word, live out faith with one another, and serve the community.

START A MINI GROWTH GROUP
A mini growth group is a smaller version of our groups, where you invite 2-3 friends to meet weekly to discover God’s Word and encourage one another. We’ve got a simple guide for what to do when you meet, along with Bible discovery journeys you can take together. If you start a mini growth group, let Pastor Brad know so he can be praying for you!

CHILDCARE REIMBURSEMENT FORM
We don't want the cost of childcare to deter parents from participating in a growth group. So we are offering to parents to reimburse you for the cost of hiring a sitter for your kids. Just downlod the reimbursement form and submit it to the church office or Pastor Matt.

HOW OFTEN DO WE MEET?
Your Growth Group will meet once a week for around 90 minutes for 6-10 weeks. We're not asking for a long-term commitment. But don't be surprised if you try it and can't wait for the next groups session to begin once yours has finished!
WHAT WILL THE PEOPLE IN MY GROUP BE LIKE?
Your growth group is going to be filled with people much like you, people with struggles and doubts but also with a desire to know God and follow Jesus. The goal is to be honest with one another about where we are at and then to encourage one another to follow Jesus.
WHO WILL LEAD MY GROUP?
Your Growth Group leader is a regular person just like you that attends and serves at CrossPoint. Many of our group leaders are former group members who love helping people like you get connected into a great group!
WHAT DO WE DO IN THE GROUP?
The Growth Groups study a variety of books and topics that are intended to help you grow in your faith and in your understanding of the Bible. Each group leader selects the study during the group session. The exception to this general format is each fall when most of the Growth Groups participate inthe same study.
HOW CAN I BE SURE THAT I WILL BE IN A GROUP THAT IS RIGHT FOR ME?
The opportunity to choose your growth group helps to ensure you are in a group that you will enjoy, but sometimes you do end up in a group, for various reasons, isn't the best fit for you. That's one reason our groups meet in sessions. You're not committed long term. We encourage you to not give up on groups if you have a less than amazing experience. Spending regular time with a small group of people is a part of God's plan to grow us spiritually.
DOES IT COST ANYTHING?
There is no cost to join a group. Some groups do have a study guide that you will want to purchase in order to fully participate in the group. Once you join a group your group leader will contact you with more information.
IS CHILDCARE AVAILABLE?
We do offer childcare for women who participate in a growth group on Tuesday mornings at CrossPoint. The cost is $20 per family, per session. Some growth groups arrange childcare, and you should check with the group leader of a group you are interested in joining to see if there are any arrangements. CrossPoint will reimburse your childcare costs for participating in a growth group. You can download the form here and turn it in to the church office or to Pastor Matt.
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A GROUP?
You can sign up for a growth group online using the link on this page or on Sundays through your connection card. Once you sign up, your group leader will contact you with any pertinent details about the group.
